How to sell gold and silver to us
Order a free and insured return shipment.
Fill in the necessary information digitally here, or via the attached form, and include a copy of your ID.
Pack the items you wish to sell in the return package or other suitable packaging. The return label will work regardless.
Deliver the package at the post office and keep the receipt you receive.
We receive and inspect the package before we assess the value of the contents.
You receive an offer based on the metal price.
Upon accepted offer – payment to your account within 5 business days.
Important information for those considering selling gold and silver:
Before delivering or sending gold and silver to us, it is important that you familiarize yourself with how the process works.
- There is an 18-year age limit for the submission of metals, jewelry, investment coins, and similar items.
- The offer price is determined once the shipment has been received and assessed, regardless of when it was sent or delivered.
- If you estimate that the value of the shipment exceeds 100,000 NOK, a self-declaration for private individuals must be completed before ordering a return shipment or making a delivery.
- Each package is insured for values up to 50,000 NOK. If the value is higher, you must order and send multiple packages.

How is the price for gold and silver calculated?
For gold: weight in grams x today’s price at the time of valuation.
For silver: Weight in kilos x today’s price at the time of valuation.
Your price is calculated based on weight and metal price at the time of valuation. This is not necessarily the same day we receive your valuables. Upon approved offer, the money will be paid out within a few business days. See also our terms and conditions here.
The metals do not fit in the packaging you sent me
If the metals you wish to send in are too large to fit in the return envelope, you can attach the return label to suitable packaging.
Do I have to use your return shipment?
No, you do not have to use our return shipment, but we recommend it as the return will be insured.

Refining - what does it mean?
In certain cases, you as a customer will achieve the best price if the item is first refined and analyzed before the submitted metals are priced. In this case, it will take at least 14 days before we are allowed to refine the submission. The reason for this is the 14-day storage obligation pursuant to our second-hand dealer license.
If this is the case for your submission, you will be contacted when we have received your package.
If I do not wish to sell after all, can I get my items back?
Yes, you can. For an insured return of metals, you will be invoiced 350 kr in costs.
What does valuation cost with you?
You pay nothing for our valuation. We perform a price assessment, based on analysis results and weight, which is done according to the current price at the time of valuation – not submission.
Do I get paid for stones and diamonds?
We do not provide settlement for stones and diamonds.
We do not send such items back either, so these must be removed before any submission.
I do not want to send the metals by mail, what do I do?
You can come in person to deliver your metals in Hamar and Oslo.

I cannot deliver myself, what do I do?
The person who has identified themselves, completed the self-declaration, and is the owner of the bank account must be the same. If you then send someone else, that is acceptable.
