In close collaboration with the Norwegian Mint, we have started the development of a series of unique investment coins that not only represent values in gold and silver but also carry with them Norwegian cultural heritage and history. An equally perfect collector’s item as an investment.
Viking Kings – The Very Backbone of Norway’s History
Through our investment coins, we wish to honor the Norwegian line of kings – a series of figures who not only shaped our country but also stand central to our cultural and historical consciousness. From sagas and runes to modern identity – the Viking kings live on in the Norwegian people.
Harald Fairhair – The First Unifying King
The first coin in the series was dedicated to Harald Fairhair – the man who, according to Snorri, united Norway into one kingdom after the Battle of Hafrsfjord around the year 872.
He is considered Norway’s first king and symbolizes the very beginning of our national history. The coin was issued in both gold and silver – and quickly became a favorite.
Eric Bloodaxe – Son, Warrior, and King
The next king in our series is Eric Bloodaxe – son of Harald Fairhair and one of the most fascinating and controversial figures in Norwegian history.
Eric was known for his warlike nature and dramatic fate, bearing a name that evokes both awe and curiosity.
