Analysis and Laboratory
In our extensive laboratory, we analyze over 20,000 samples and analyses annually.
We perform analyses of precious metal content, alloy composition, purity, and contaminants on all known metals. Our laboratory in Hamar is equipped with handheld X-ray instruments, and we conduct physical metallurgical data collection including hardness testing, tensile testing, and microscopy.
In addition, we utilize Inductively Coupled Plasma spectrometry, which can analyze 70 different elements, as well as LECO for the analysis of oxygen in metals and alloys, titration (silver analysis), and cupellation (gold analysis).
We also perform analyses upon request and offer analysis certificates customized to the customer’s requirements.
