Silver Catalyst
K.A. Rasmussen began its production of catalysts in 1932 and has since actively worked to further develop its products in collaboration with large, international catalyst customers.
Our silver crystals are of the highest quality and feature a special surface that ensures solid performance, selectivity, and yield for our customers. Their low specific gravity also results in lower pressure drop and improved process control.
World-class catalysts
We supply a wide range of fractions, making it easy for you to tailor a catalyst bed optimized for your reactor. We are the sole supplier of Karnet®, a product that is well-proven and demonstrably advantageous when replacing the traditional copper mesh support.

We accept used catalysts for refining and recycling, and extracted metal can be sold or used for the production of new catalysts. We offer all our customers the option to open a metal account.

Innovation
New product: knitted silver mesh
As a good partner, an important part of our work is to research and develop new products that can contribute to increased efficiency for our customers. In 2020, we launched a knitted silver mesh made of pure silver thread, which is placed between the top layer and the underlying layer. The effect of this is that the general silver bed is reinforced to withstand thermal expansion cracks, which has been tested with a number of customers with good results.
