Metal account

Metal account is a service we offer to all our precious metal customers.

We currently have many customers who use a metal account. A metal account is an account for intermediate settlements between KARasmussen AS and the customer, expressed in weight for the individual metal. The weights express the amount of fine metals that are available to the parties at the time of trade or settlement. Deposits, withdrawals or balances on a metal account are to be considered transactions or intermediate settlements that are stated in weight and not in monetary value.

The metal account provides a simple relationship to the precious metals in circulation.

• Orders for new materials are invoiced to your metal account.
• Settlement from refining is linked to your metal account when you return scrap, scrap and used catalysts for refining
• You enter a recycling cycle where you save a lot in material costs and your own production costs.

This contributes to simpler settlement, and protects you as a customer against market fluctuations in metal prices.
